Even though the Channel Tunnel was opened some time ago the town of Dover in Kent is still one England’s major ferry ports. Most of the ferries make their way across to France, although other destinations are served as well. It is located near St Margaret’s Bay, one of the finest beaches in Kent and is still only a short drive from the ferry terminals. It is a traditional Kentish weather boarded inn that has been carefully restored and it even boasts a micro spa. Which makes it the perfect place to stay to get away from it all in Kent.
