Air Travel-Pros and Cons
As the decades have passed air travel has continually grown in popularity. This increase in popularity has been due to the convenience and safety one could enjoy by traveling by air. The following are some of the positive and negative factors involving air travel.
Disadvantage: Airplanes Cause Pollution.
The major shortcoming of air travel is the pollution caused by it. Airplanes are responsible for sending greenhouse gases into our atmosphere and these gases contribute for things like global warming. For those people that try to limit their impact on the planet this could be a serious drawback. ) Many airlines are trying to become more environmentally conscious these days. This can include them retrofitting their airplanes with a device called a winglet which improves fuel efficiency. Apart from this the airlines invest a large sum of money to replace their old aircraft by fuel efficient aircraft.
Disadvantage: High Cost
Another con that keeps people from traveling by air is cost. You may be able to travel by car to many destinations at a very cheap price as compared to traveling by flight. There are ways to get around this by taking advantage of discount
airline travel. The main deciding factor for flying or driving is the type of deal you can get for airfare.
Disadvantage: Fear of Flying
Many people simply do not like to fly. For anyone that has ever been on a flight that has experienced extreme turbulence or some type of other event it can be rather terrifying.
Advantage: Speed of Travel
traveling by air is much faster as compared to other means of transportation as long as these places are connected by air. Driving in United States between places could take you a number of days whereas you could cover this distance in a few hours by flight. This gives you extra days for enjoying your vacations because you save a number of days by traveling by air.
Advantage: Easy to Travel Long Distances
It is possible to cover long distances by flight in a reasonably short time whereas it is difficult to cover far off destinations by other modes of transportation. We can pretty much travel to any destination around the globe by air. Although many of these flying times are very long you will still find that the total time taken is much shorter than the time that would have been spent by using alternate modes of transportation.
Advantage: Safety
When you consider various modes of travel, you will find that travel by air is the safest. We normally hear more about car accidents taking place as compared to air accidents. Similarly, there is no dearth of train accidents. Air travel related disasters do happen but they occur much less frequently. Many people decide to travel by air since they feel that it is safer to fly than going by other means of transport.
Choosing air travel is a personal decision, based on the factors discussed above along with a multitude factors not discussed here. For most travelers safety, speed of travel and cost are the over riding factors. As long as cost remains affordable air travel will continue to grow in popularity.
Maybe you are planning a romantic weekend, or possibly, you are going on a long business trip. Perhaps you are flying off to Hawaii or maybe you’ve rented a gorgeous chalet in the snow? Wherever you are jet-setting off to – make sure that you pack your adult toys well to avoid any embarrassing (and possibly very public) situations.
So, how do you pack adult toys? Firstly, you need to remove the batteries. Even though you may think that your vibrator is difficult to turn on, a little shift in the contents of your luggage could easily knock the control to the ON position. You really don’t want to explain vibrating luggage to security personnel or customs officers. Dildos are less of a problem in this respect as they are usually made of silicone / jelly / rubber and have no metal or mechanical parts.
Place your dildos, penis-rings, or vibrators in clear plastic baggies. Airport personnel routinely go through luggage so if you’re chosen at random for a luggage inspection, you’ll be glad your toys are zip-locked away. Customs staff always wear plastic gloves, but you really don’t want their gloves, which have been touching everyone else’s personal items, to touch your intimate toys too. Do the employees and yourself a favour by putting each item in a clear plastic zip baggie to keep everything hygienic.
Always place your vibrators in your checked luggage. This just removes you from the situation a little bit. If you bring a vibrator in your carry-on luggage, well, you are just asking for an embarrassing situation to occur.
Bear in mind also that vibrators are not permitted in certain countries – especially if they are shaped like a phallus. If you take one in your checked-in luggage – you may have to go through the red channel and declare it – and it may be confiscated. One such country where ‘obscene items’ are illegal is Thailand. There, you might get away with importing a traditional slimline vibrator and pass it off as a ‘massager’ for your sore back – however, if your vibe is penis-shaped, expect that it will be confiscated!
In the USA, Texan customs officers will not be sympathetic if you arrive with a suitcase full of vibes – to own more than three such ‘marital aids’ is currently illegal in that state. Therefore, do a quick Google check of what the laws are in the particular state or country you are travelling to.
Finally, don’t travel with your favourite or with your top of the range expensive toy. It is best that you take along an inexpensive alternative or buy something completely new especially for the trip. At sites like LoveTheRabbit.com you’ll find many vibratex rabbit vibrator articles, information, raves and reviews and links to stores that stock them.
This way, if your luggage is lost, or your strap-on dildo is confiscated or if your ‘bestest’ vibe breaks in transit – you will not have lost your favourite ‘friend’ or your most expensive toy. Bon voyage!

I have come to the conclusion that going on one of those great luxury cruise ships is actually worth all the money as well as being a lot better than taking a plane there. Could it really be better than flying?
No hassle arriving fifty hours before so your bags can be checked, that is done quickly which is great you wont need to get up that early to get there as its all a lot quicker. As well as this there is no waiting to get to your destination as essentially as soon as you board the ship you are at your hotel room and can lie down and rest or jump straight into the pool.
There are also casinos, free room service, and bars to go to as soon as you step foot onto the ship. Free drinks are only available on planes if you are travelling long haul with one of the expensive airlines like BA or Virgin.
The best thing about it is you actually get to have legroom which is great compared to a plane! Welcome to a way of travelling without being squashed in for however many hours, go anywhere on the ship you can even take a jog on the jogging track.
Of course if something does happen all you have to do is get into a lifeboat rather than jump down a huge inflatable slide or worse die on impact. No real threat from terrorism on a cruise ship, not at the moment anyway! All you really need to worry about are pirates and that is only if you are near the pirate zones.
There is of course always the possibilty that a storm will occur and if that happens it won’t ruin the holiday just head downstairs for a nice dip in the pool or have a bite to eat!
I have to admit I love flying and I would never say cruise every year instead of flying to your favourite destination but going on a luxury cruise is nice every so often and with Regent Cruises (the one I went with) you are sure to have a better time than on an aeroplane.
Are you planning on taking a family vacation this year or a business trip? There is a good chance of your flying if that is the case. Flying is a relatively safe, easy, and convenient way to travel. However, before you leave for the airport, you are advised to start preparing for your flight, well in advance. Unfortunately, many travelers do not realize that preparing for your flight does not just include packing your bags. Thanks to new air travel rules and the enforcement of them, preparation now includes more than you could ever imagine.
As previously mentioned, it best that you start preparing for your flight early. In fact, you should start preparing as soon as you buy your airline tickets, whether that be two weeks before you leave or two months. The first step that you will want take is to familiarize yourself with the airline that you are flying with and the airport which you will be flying out of. You can easily do this research online. You will want to determine how early you should leave for the airport and what items you will need to bring along with you, such as personal identification.
Reviewing the list of banned items is a good idea too. These are items that you are not allowed to have on the airplane or past certain points in most airports. The most commonly banned items include sharp objects and flammable items, but there other items included in these bans, items that you may have never even thought about before. That is why it is best that you learn what you can and cannot bring on your next family vacation or business trip. In the event that you try to bring along items that are prohibited, you may have them confiscated.
If you are planning on familiarizing yourself with banned items and other airline rules, it may be a good idea to print off a list of what you find. Printable lists of items that are banned in airports and on airplanes can be found onlinefrom a number of different websites. One of those websites includes the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). A printable list is ideal, especially if you do not need to start packing for your trip right away.
After you have familiarized yourself with the air travel rules, including the ones that were recently implemented, you will need to start packing, whether you do so right away or not. When packing, you will want to remember everything that you learned, although, if you printed off a list, your packing will be much easier. In the event that you are not sure whether or not an item can be brought on an airplane, you are advised to leave it at home. Banned items can not only be confiscated, but they could cause you to miss your flight. That is why you are advised against taking any unnecessary chances.
Once your luggage is ready and travel plans are in order, you will need to move towards the airport. It is advised that you arrive at the airport, at least, two hours in advance. It is important that you check with your airport, because some airports have different restrictions. Depending on the size of your airport or the number of flights going in and out, you may find that you need to arrive three or even four hours in advance. It is important that you not only have your plane tickets with you, but also proper forms of identification.
Once at the airport, it is important that you remain calm at all times, even if you are approached by airport security. In today’s world, it is not uncommon for you to be subject to a random bag check or search; therefore, you should not fret if you are asked. Instead, just remain calm and in no time at all, you should be on your way to enjoying your vacation or your business trip.
Are you a frequent flyer? If so, there is a good chance that you know all of the air travel rules. Do you? If so, do you know that air travel rules can vary between airports? Most travelers, especially those that tend to fly out of the same airports, are unaware that the rules are different.
When understanding air travel, it is important to remember that there are two main sets of rules. One set of rules are often imposed by the federal government. All these restrictions such as bans on some liquids or sharp edge items must be honored in every airport of USA. Despite these types of bans and air travel rules, you may also find that specific airports have implemented their own rules and restrictions. Although it is not required, a number of them have.
Whether you are a first time flyer or a frequent flyer, who is flying out of a new airport, you are advised to familiarize yourself with the air travel rules that are implemented in all airports, as well as the ones that are implemented individually, by each airport. The rules that can be found in each airport are just as important as the rules that are widespread. For this reason, it is important that you familiarize yourself with them. This can be done a number of different ways.
It seems that the best way to know the rules of airport is by visiting the website of the airport from where your going to fly out. If you do not already know the address of that website, you can easily find it out by performing a standard internet search. You should perform your search with the name of the airport in question. Once at the website’s main page, you should be able to find information on air travel rules. You are encouraged to fully read those rules and take note of what you see; it may come in useful later on.
As nice as it is to get information online, you are advised to be careful with what you find. Most airports update their online websites on a regular basis, but not all do. You will want to be on the lookout for outdated information. You are not going to get anything but outdated information. If your airport’s online website does not have any information on air travel safety and rules, it does not necessarily mean these rules do not exist. However, what is likely to happen is that you will be required to collect information from elsewhere which an be from the airport directly too.
When trying to contact an airport, you will have a number of different options. It is likely that you can have your local airport’s contact details from your local phone book if you are flying out of a local airport. If not, you should be able to obtain it online. Regardless of where you get your information from, you should find that each airport has a number of different telephone numbers listed. In the event that there is not a phone number listed specifically for information on air travel rules, you will want to contact the customer service department. Most airline representatives would be more than willing to answer all of your questions, including those on airport rules and restrictions.
In addition to familiarizing yourself with the airport that you will be flying in and out of, it is also a good idea to examine your airline. Like many airports, many airlines have implemented their own air travel rules, guidelines, and restrictions. For instance, there are some airlines that have specific rules on the flying with pets and others that are more flexible. Before leaving for the airport, it is important that you determine whether or not these additional air travel rules exist.
When flying out of a new airport or on a new airline, the “but the other airline allowed it,” excuse will not work. That is why, to prevent confusion or confrontation, you are advised to know what rules and restrictions each airport and airline has, if any.
