Golf is massively popular and as you would expect there are thousands and thousands of sites about it. The problem for the keen golfer is that there is literally too much information.
When you go to a search engine they will often give you far more information than you can use.
For example just as a random search I have just gone to Google and typed in “buy new seven iron” without the quotation marks.The site has given me 18,600,000 results.
This is of no use to me.I have a nasty case of information overload, particularly as a quick look through the first page of websites suggests a lot of narrow websites rather then a the general overview retailer that i was hoping for
As another example I have tried “golf course in Arizona”. This time I have got 3,400,000 results.
It seemed to me that I should be able to reduce the overload of Google information and find a solution for myself.
After a lot of searches it was there!!.
My solution was simple; my own personal golf toolbar.Toolbars, if you are not certain are the useful rows of symbols at the top of your screen.
In the toolbar I put in my favorite golfing websites so that whenever I wanted golf information it was there at the top of my screen every time I was online.It meany my preferred store, course directory and news site were just a click away. It put an end to wasting time with Google and looking at too many websites.
I do continue to use Google occasionally for searching on golf but really the best websites are there on my screen all the time.
I decided that it would be great for others to use the toolbar and it’s here.Its free for everybody to use.It is completely safe and downloads rapidly.
At the moment it has a top golf store, training aid site, news section and a weather forecast, a vacation arranger, utilities, games and loads of other useful stuff.
